Sampling best practices such as developing a sampling plan, following QA/QC protocols, filling out a COC, communicating with a lab, and interpreting and reporting results will be discussed. Students will engage in interactive exercises and hands-on practice with a range of sampling equipment typically employed in the environmental and occupational health and safety profession.
You will be trained to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and recommend controls for environmental and physical hazards that can affect the health and well-being of workers.
You will also coordinate the calibration and maintenance of sampling equipment.
